August 26, 2009 In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) has emerged in recent years as a useful tool in remediating a wide range of contaminants under a variety of site conditions. However, there are many methodologies available to design, apply and monitor ISCO with different potentials for success, dependent on site-specific conditions. To help further understanding of ISCO as a remedial option, Brant Smith, Ph.D., P.E. of XDD discussed basic field application strategies during a webinar entitled "Design and Applicaton Strategies for Klozur® Activated Persulfate." The free webinar was part of a series being produced by FMC Corporation, the makers of Klozur® Activated Persulfate.
